The Battle for Glass Steagall: New Endorsements
Two more legislators have endorsed U.S. House Resolution 1489, which calls for reinstatement of the Glass-Stegall law separating commercial banking activity from speculation. They are: Maurice Hinchey of New York, and Eleanor Holmes Norton of Washington, D.C.—both Democrats.
