“I’m honored to receive the support of true heroes here in South Florida. Our first responders put their lives on the line for us each and every day, and we are indebted to these men and women, and their families.” – Sen. Marco Rubio
“The South Florida Council of Firefighters (SFCFF) is endorsing Sen. Marco Rubio in Florida’s critical U.S. Senate race. Marco is committed to serving the citizens of Florida, and has been a tireless supporter of our community of first responders, especially here in South Florida. He has worked to make sure our needs are met, from sponsoring the 9/11 James Zadroga Health and Compensation Reauthorization Act, to advocating for the National Firefighter Cancer Registry. We look forward to supporting Marco in the General Election, and wish him all the best.” – David Perez, President of South Florida Council of Firefighters
The organization also endorsed Marco in the Senate race’s primary election.
