Well, thank heavens Tom Harkin is unafraid to play women like checkers in his argument for socialized medicine and attack on freedom of religion. I don't know how women would deal with breastfeeding their children or their menstrual cycles if old men like Bloomberg and Harkin weren't there to guide us.
It's asinine to suggest that birth control is the only way women can control menstrual cramps. Speaking from experience with endometriosis, there are a number of other remedies available to women that assist with this issue, not just birth control pills. If it was about women's health, the "birth control" aspect wouldn't be at the spear of the left's push.
Considering the accusations of "war on women" thrown at the GOP, this now marks two examples of the sexist school of thought practiced at the senior-most levels of the Democratic Party men. They're eager to use us as a tool to justify the attack on free religion and quality medicine, but absent when hundreds of thousands of women lose their jobs on Obama's watch.
