More Wisconsin Journalists in Trouble for Signing Walker Recall
Just days after an investigation by Gannett Media uncovered dozens of Wisconsin journalists who had signed petitions to recall Republican Gov. Scott Walker, new accusations of media bias continue to emerge along with new names of prominent journalists who have joined the left's effort.
Media Trackers reports that a news anchor and a colleague at WISC-TV, the Madison, WI affiliate of CBS, have both signed recall petitions, and both are under investigation.
Editors and management at media outlets are treating participation in the recall effort differently from casting an ordinary vote on Election Day, reassigning reporters away from political topics and launching new ethics training in an attempt to repair public perceptions of bias.
