Mediaite Blogger: GOP Wants You To Almost Die Before You Go To Hospital

Cenk Uygur of Current TV's "The Young Turks" talks to Mediaite.com blogger Tommy Christopher about a new ad from Priorities USA, the super PAC opposing Mitt Romney. The ad connects Romney to the death of a woman whose husband was laid off after Bain Capital shut down a plant. "Do we want to live in a country where people have to almost die before they go to the hospital?" Christopher asks. Cenk says. "[If] you don't give a damn that people lose their pensions or lose their jobs or lose their health care, then you should get an ad like this. This is your reckoning." TOMMY CHRISTOPHER: "You hear Republicans talk about it all the time, "well, you can get free health care at the emergency room." But no, it's not free. You go to the emergency room and they will try and collect money from you. They will take your wages, take your house. So people don't go unless they're about to die which is exactly what happened here. The bigger issue here is, do you want to live in a country where people have to almost die before they go to the hospital?"
