Palin On Cheney’s "Mistake" Comment: "Everybody Misfires Once In A While"

On FNC's "On the Record" tonight former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) responded to former Vice President Dick Cheney saying it was a "mistake" that she was the 2008 GOP nominee for vice president. Palin said Cheney, who "never misfires" was convinced about what the "false narrative" about her that he read in the "lame stream media." "Well, seeing as how Dick -- excuse me, Vice President Cheney never misfires, then evidently he's quote convinced that what he evidently read about me by the lame stream media having been written what I believe is a false narrative over the last four years, evidently Dick Cheney believed that stuff and that's a shame so he characterized me as being a mistake," Palin said on FOX News. Later in the interview Palin commented on her treatment by the GOP establishment. "You know what? In the GOP establishment, what I have found, Greta, sometimes you are the Louisville Slugger, baby, and sometimes you are the ball, and evidently in these last blows, per many, many comments from those within the GOP establishment, I'm the ball," Palin said.
