Wasserman Schultz: Unemployment Is Lower In Ohio Because Obama Bailed Out Auto Industry

"The reason the unemployment rate (7.3% in Ohio) is below the national average (8.2%) is because Barack Obama had the courage to rescue the American auto industry and that's why they've had a resurgence in their economy. They've got a long way to go like the rest of the country," DNC chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz said on the Wednesday broadcast of MSNBC's "Hardball." If left to Mitt Romney, we would have lost 1.4 million jobs in the auto industry, including those in the supply chain, many of which would have been in Ohio. Ohio's economy would have been decimated," she said.
