A monk has pleaded guilty to harassing a couple of lesbian pagans after telling them: “We used to burn people like you.” Brother Damon Kelly of the Black Hermits, a tiny Catholic group based in the Diocese of Northampton in Britain, also admitted telling the pair their sexuality was “part of the devil’s madness”. Leicester Magistrates Court heard that Brother Damon was posting a leaflet condemning homosexuality through the couple’s door when one of the women confronted him and tried to hand it back. The court heard be became “aggressive and fanatical” on the doorstep and told the women: “Keep it, urinate on it, defecate on it.” The Express says he then returned to their house two weeks later and posted a letter through their door addressed “to the witches from the monk,” which said that “witches, gays, lesbians and sex-changers” are all “the devil’s madness.” Prosecutor Nigel Chapman said
