KABUL, Afghanistan, July 30 (UPI) — The Afghan Taliban confirmed Thursday its founder, Mullah Mohammad Omar, has died, and a successor has been chosen. The announcement came after the government in Kabul revealed Wednesday the reclusive leader died in 2013.
