Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump is scheduled to hold an event with hundreds of religious leaders on June 21st in New York City. Concerned Women for America CEO and President Penny Nance is a co-sponsor for the event with Trump, where close to 900 religious leaders will meet. “We wanted to bring together hundreds of the nation’s top evangelical and social conservative leaders so he could make his pitch for their support,” Nance stated. “There is still a question about whether or not evangelicals can unify behind his candidacy.” The event titled, “A Conversation about America’s Future” will feature both Trump and Dr. Ben Carson. The invitation lists several groups hosting the event, including United in Purpose, My Faith Votes, Global Fund Group, FCCI, Charles W. Herbster, Vision America Action, AFA Action, and Family Research Council.
