Limbaugh: Rosenstein, Not Sessions ‘Ought to Be the Subject’ of Abuse If Trump Is Upset About Mueller

Tuesday on his nationally syndicated radio show, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh argued President Donald Trump’s ire was misappropriated at his Attorney General Jeff Sessions for the Department of Justice’s appointment of a special counsel to investigate possible collusion between Russia and the 2016 Trump presidential campaign. Limbaugh argued that instead Trump should be upset with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. Partial transcript as follows: Mueller is independent. There’s nobody can stop Mueller from doing anything because it’s the deputy attorney general, what’s-his-face. Sessions had nothing to do with it. He recused! This is about Russia, supposedly. GOP Sen Collins Blasts Rep Farenthold: ‘He’s So Unattractive, It’s Unbelievable’

Tuesday after a Senate Committee of Appropriations meeting, Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) was caught on a hot mic calling Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-TX) “unattractive.” Collins was responding to Farenthold saying “female senators from the Northeast” are responsible for blocking the Senate’s attempt to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act adding, “If it was a guy from South Texas, I might ask him to step outside and settle this Aaron Burr-style.” Collins said, “Did you see the one that challenged me to a duel?” Sen. Jack Reed (D-RI) responded, “I know. Trust me, do you know why he challenged you to a duel? Because you could beat the shit out of him.” Collins laughed and said, “He’s huge, I don’t mean to be unkind, but he is so unattractive, it’s unbelievable. Did you see the picture of him in his pajamas next to this bunny, Playboy bunny?” Collins was believed to be referring to this photo: This is the photo Sen. Susan Collins was referring to when she commented on Rep. Blake Farenthold wearing pajamas in 2010. pic.twitter.com/jZYCPC4FYW — Beatrice-Elizabeth (@MissBeaE) July 25, 2017 Follow Pam Key on Twitter @pamkeyNEN
