Islamic State terrorists plan to take their struggle across the world in 2016 and push their fighters into a final showdown with liberal western democracies. To that end hundreds of sleeper cells in “dozens of countries” will mobilise in an unprecedented bid to spark a huge military retaliation in the Middle East, according to one of the world’s leading authorities on the death cult. The claim comes as fears grow of a New Year’s Eve terror plot in London and other major European cities including Paris and Brussels cancel or curtail their traditional celebrations to say farewell to the year. Germany’s Influx of Migrants is an Opportunity, Angela Merkel Says
BERLIN – German society and the economy stand to benefit from the influx of hundreds of thousands of refugees, Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Thursday, repeating her optimistic mantra “we can do this”. In her New Year address to the nation, Angela Merkel acknowledged that the integration of migrants, many of them Muslims fleeing war in the Middle East, would cost Germany “time, strength and money”. But the country was strong enough to cope, she said, pointing to low unemployment and rising wages. “I am convinced that if we tackle the formidable task posed by the influx and integration of so many people in the right way today, then this will represent an opportunity for us tomorrow,” Merkel said in the text of a speech supplied by the government before she spoke. “It’s true, we live in challenging times. But it’s also true that we can do this, because Germany is a strong country.” Germany has taken in just over a million migrants this year, far more than any other European country. WATCH: Man Arrested in Saudi Mall for Wearing Islamic Women’s Garb
JAFFA, Israel – A Saudi man was arrested in a shopping mall in the city of Taeef while dressed in a niqab, a traditional women’s garb. The man, who is in his twenties, aroused the suspicion of a passer-by. He approached what he thought was a woman – niqabs cover the entire body, except the eyes – and when he realized it was a man, he called the mall’s security. The young man was handed over to police, who made no accusations against him except “mingling with female visitors of the mall.” See the video below: The kingdom’s bubbly social media was abuzz following the incident. Some criticized conservative elements in Saudi society that force women to fully cover their bodies. That, they claimed, raises the arousal threshold among “sick people, like this guy.” Others criticized that “damned man, whom we pray Allah will cure and give back his brain.” One commenter said: “By the way he walks, he clearly wants to be a woman,” followed by a luscious curse.
