Limbaugh Credits Trump for ‘Hijacking’ Democratic National Convention with Press Conference
Wednesday on his nationally syndicated radio show, conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh credit Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump with hijacking the Democratic National Convention’s biggest night thus far by holding a press conference earlier in the day in which he took questions from reporters for an hour straight. According to Limbaugh, the conference, which included remarks about his opponent Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s 30,000 missing emails from her server while serving as secretary of state, Trump remarks overshadowed the previous night’s keynote speaker former President Bill Clinton, who touted his wife as being the best candidate for the presidency. Partial transcript as follows: I really don’t believe that I have ever seen what I just saw. I’ve been thinking. I’ve been trying to dig deep into the dark crevices of my memory, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen what I just saw. Donald Trump just hijacked the Democrat convention after the biggest night of that convention so far. Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, just concluded, right in time for this program to begin. (They got the memo.) He just concluded a freewheeling, no-holds-barred, no-controls-on-the-media, “Whatever you want to ask me, ask me,” press conference the day
Krauthammer: Clinton Reaction To Trump’s Russia Statement Admitted She Deleted Work-Related Emails
On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” columnist Charles Krauthammer argued that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s remarks about Russia accessing Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails was “a trap” where “the Clinton campaign ends up admitting that perhaps there really is work-related, if not classified stuff, on the emails which she deleted, which I think would be the grounds for a charge of obstruction.” Krauthammer said, “I do think there was something about his reference to Russia, which, whether planned or not, is extremely clever. I’m not the first point out that it set a trap that the Clinton campaign fell right into. In that statement that you showed from the Clinton campaign, it said, you know, you’re inviting a foreign power to invade our national security. Now, these are the emails that she deleted because they were supposedly private. These the ones that were supposedly not work-related. These are ones where she discusses her yoga lessons and wedding planning. So, if that’s what really [is] in the 30,000 deleted e-mails, then there’s no national security to be involved at all. So, the Clinton campaign ends up admitting that perhaps there really
Anti-Semitism on U.S. College Campuses Skyrockets
TEL AVIV – Anti-Semitic activity on U.S. college campuses with the largest Jewish undergraduate populations has skyrocketed during the first half of 2016 compared to the same time last year, a new report shows. The Amcha Initiative, a nonpartisan anti-Semitism watchdog group, found that 287 anti-Semitic incidents occurred at 64 schools during that time period, reflecting a 45% increase from the 198 incidents reported in the first six months of 2015. The alarming statistics make Jewish college students the largest group of university students “coming under systematic attack,” with an increasing number seeing their civil rights infringed upon, Tammi Rossman-Benjamin, Amcha director and co-founder, told the Algemeiner on Tuesday. The report said that the strategy and tactics employed by anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic groups are “significantly more brazen” today than in the past. It cited the egregious violation of basic civil rights, including suppressing Jewish students’ “free speech, blocking their movements, or hindering their assembly,” as occurring on 12 different campuses. Anti-Semitic activity “was twice as likely to occur on campuses where BDS [the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions campaign] was present, eight times more likely to occur on campuses with at least one active anti-Zionist student group such as SJP [Students for Justice
