WATCH — Farage in D.C. Warns Over Fake Conservatives, Crony Capitalism, and Radical Islam
Brexit leader Nigel Farage spoke in Washington, D.C. on Friday at the Young America’s Foundation conference, using his remarks to take aim at fake conservatives, slam crony capitalism, and issue a warning over radical Islamic terrorism. “The one thing I’ve learned is that good conservative values have to be fought for and defended zealously at all time. We face huge enemies with the establishment and the media… and the biggest enemy of all that we face are those that are within in our ranks, those that masquerade as conservatives but actually follow liberal agendas,” Farage said. His comments come swiftly on the back of Senator John McCain’s rebuffing of a GOP bill to repeal Obamacare, and indeed Mr. Farage named Sen. McCain personally in his remarks. “Who are the people really trying to stop the [Trump] agenda that won the election from succeeding? It isn’t the Democrats, it isn’t CNN. It’s John McCain and people in his own party,” he said. Mr. Farage took the stage at the conference which has previously hosted Daniel Hannan MEP, a Conservative Party member in Britain who leans liberal in his politics, and who has previously endorsed Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton at U.S.

Mo Brooks Hits Luther Strange for Mitch McConnell Loyalty, Campaign Money — ‘Kentucky Already Has Two Senators’
PELHAM, AL – Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) raised questions about the loyalties of Sen. Luther Strange (R-AL), one of his chief primary opponents in this month’s special election for the U.S. Senate seat previously held by Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Strange has the backing of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and the Senate Leadership Fund, a super PAC controlled by McConnell. That group has reportedly spent millions of dollars in pro-Strange advertising, some of which has been very critical of Brooks and the field’s other frontrunner, former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore. Brooks argued those dollars spent on Strange’s behalf will make Strange beholden to McConnell should Strange go on to win the election. “Well, it’s quite clear that Luther Strange, if he wins, will be because of loyalties to Mitch McConnell,” Brooks said in an interview with Breitbart News after a candidate forum hosted by the Shelby County, AL Republican Party. “Kentucky already has two senators. They don’t need a third.” “Alabama needs a second senator, and I don’t want going to Washington, DC a person who has mixed loyalties, where he is beholden to Mitch McConnell because Mitch McConnell has poured millions

Maher: Trump ‘Does Not Seem Christlike’
During an interview with Faith and Freedom Coalition Chairman Ralph Reed on Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher argued that President Trump doesn’t seem to be like Jesus Christ. Maher said, “I don’t throw the term Antichrist around lightly. But, when I think of Christ, and then Trump, yeah, Antichrist. … [L]et’s take the lying thing. You guys call Satan — you believe in Satan, right?” After Reed responded that he does, Maher stated, “I could make fun. I’m not. Because I like you. Okay, but don’t you call Satan the father of lies?” Maher added, “Trump, giant liar, Satan, father of lies. Okay. What about the thing that Jesus was sorta — he was not really fond of egomaniacs, or rich people? Isn’t Donald Trump a rich egomaniac, who — you know, everything is about money and doing well and winners and losers? It just does not seem Christlike, Ralph.” Follow Ian Hanchett on Twitter @IanHanchett

Maher said, “[W]hen the sea levels rise, obviously, we could lose Venice. We could lose Florida. And who would know better about losing Florida.” Gore smiled and laughed before saying, “Actually, I think I carried Florida.” Gore then smiled.
