Prominent Saudi Blogger Claims ‘Anti-Terror’ Coalition Really About Kingdom’s Internal Politics
JAFFA, Israel – Mujtahid Bin Hareth Bin Hammaam, the prominent Saudi blogger and critic of the ruling elite, claimed on Twitter that Saudi Arabia’s announcement of an “Islamic military alliance” may not be what it seems. Hammaam is well-known in the international media for using the Twitter ID @Mujtahidd. He claimed the alliance, purportedly created fight terrorism, is actually motivated by power politics within the Saudi royal family. He called the alliance an attempt by Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, the king’s son and second in line to the throne, to score points in public opinion at the expense of his cousin and bitter enemy, Mohammed Bin Nayef, the heir to the throne, whom Western governments deem as more trustworthy. “The coalition which Mohammed Bin Salman has declared has includes no practical organization, no joint forces, no military coordination, no regulations and no organizational structure,” Mujtahed tweeted. The “coalition,” according to Mujtahed, doesn’t include the “bare minimum for the formation of alliances; that is, setting clear goals, defining the enemy and the nature of the cooperation and what patterns of action are acceptable.” الحلف المزعوم الذي أعلنه محمد بن سلمان لا يشتمل على أي ترتيب عملي ولا قوات مشتركة ولا تنسيق عسكري

Saudi Council Recommends Allowing Women To Obtain Passports Without Male Guardians
Jaffa, Israel – The Security Affairs Committee of the Shoura Council, an arm of the Saudi Arabian parliament, has drafted a paper recommending that Saudi women be granted passports without permission from their male guardians, the Saudi news site Ozak reported. The committee proposes extending the right to a passport to all woman holding Saudi identity cards. The recommendation will be voted on by parliament prior to its approval. Saudi media predict that the law will pass after a series of fiery debates and opposition from conservative factions within the kingdom. Under current law, Saudi women must have the approval of a “man in charge” for actions such as driving a car or divorce. Usually, the man is her father, husband, or brother. Earlier this month, female divorcees and widows were granted ID cards that give them the authority to act independently of male guardians.
Kuwait Admits: More Of Our Citizens Support Jihad Organizations
JAFFA, Israel – Kuwait’s Ministry of Religious Affairs has warned that more and more Kuwaitis – including women – are expressing their sympathy and support for terrorist organizations, the Kuwaiti newspaper Al Qabas reported. According to the newspaper, while the authorities used to receive three complaints per month from citizens concerned that their relatives may be supporting or identifying with terrorist organizations, that number has recently increased to about 10 such reports each month. The newspaper cited sources within the Ministry of Religious Affairs saying that women are expressing more support of terrorist organizations as well. Ministry sources estimated the number of terrorist supporters to be higher than is known, explaining many parents are fearful of filing complaints against their own children. “However the ‘moderation’ committee within the ministry is laboring to reach all those youngsters in order to dissuade them from their path and from those catastrophic ideas,” the newspaper reported. Another issue is that the Religious Ministry does not report to the authorities every individual who identifies with a terrorist organization, just those it speculates are a danger to the public. The Kuwaiti government has recently increased the budget for its “moderation” committee in order to strengthen the education for a moderate way of thinking
Report: Tunisia Prepping For War Against Islamic State
