Reince Priebus Stands By Hugh Hewitt, Megyn Kelly As ‘Fair’
With Hewitt out there publicly ripping Trump on more than one occasion, it’s raised concerns that perhaps after what happened in the recent Fox News-sponsored debate that he might not be much better of a moderator. Despite the obvious efforts by Fox News to swipe at Trump—efforts that clearly failed as evidenced by post-debate polling—RNC chairman Reince Priebus defended moderators Megyn Kelly, Chris Wallace and Bret Baier on the spin room floor after the debate.

While Trump hasn’t given directly to Paul’s political action committees, he has supported Paul’s charity work as an ophthalmologist. Last summer, Paul took a trip to Salama, Guatemala. This reporter was there, with representatives from NBC’s Meet The Press, the Washington Post, and National Review, as Dr. Paul performed charity cataract surgeries. Paul’s trip was with the University of Utah’s Moran Eye Center, and a substantial portion of the trip was paid for by none other than Trump himself.

Teflon Don: Trump at 32 Percent in New Post-Debate Poll
Trump’s 32 percent is also up seven points over last week’s Morning Consult poll, which had him at 25 percent. The poll was conducted Aug. 7 through Aug. 9—Friday through Sunday—which means most of the polling was done not just after Trump’s debate performance in which he battled Fox News anchors seemingly determined to take him out but also after Friday evening comments about Kelly.
