‘Uncountable Millions’ Of Migrants Heading To Europe Warns Hungary PM
BUDAPEST, Hungary (Sept. 6) – The human flood tide surging into Europe from its southern Mediterranean shores is only beginning. Hungary’s Prime Minister Victor Orban has warned that ‘uncountable millions’ of migrants from the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa are on the way and the EU should get ready to meet the crisis sooner rather than later. Hungarian authorities spent most of the past week trying to force those entering the country to report to government-run refugee centres to register for asylum in their initial EU entry point as the 28-nation bloc’s rules require. But thousands refused – some expressing fears that Hungary would deport or detain them indefinitely – and demanded free onward passage chiefly to Germany. Those refugees initially tried to board trains in Budapest’s main Keleti railway station but were rebuffed. Crowds broke through security lines and began walking 175km (108 miles) to the border, many with small children. Early Saturday, Hungary’ authorities relented and sent

New York Times Warns Europe AGAINST Australia’s Successful Migration Policies
Australia is the only country in the world to successfully tackle the problem of migrant boats. It does this by saying ‘no’ to irregular seafaring arrivals, while at the same time admitting genuine refugees through an orderly process of entry. This, of course, has been enough to induce a bout of elbow-gripping hysteria at the New York Times, which has warned Europe not to adopt this policy. In an editorial in Thursday’s edition under the headline ‘Australia’s Brutal Treatment of Migrants’ the newspaper made it clear that the one proven approach that can stop the tragedy of migrant drownings and put people smugglers out of business is the one that should not be followed. ‘Some European officials may be tempted to adopt the hard-line approach Australia has used to stem a similar tide of migrants. That would be unconscionable. Prime Minister Tony Abbott has overseen a ruthlessly effective effort to stop boats packed with migrants, many
German Immigration Hits 20-Year-High, Up by 1.46 MILLION, Asylum Benefits Up 61 Per Cent, Nearly 1 Million Flee
Immigration into Germany last year hit its highest level for 20 years, with nearly 1.5 million people entering the country, and nearly one million people leaving. The number of people claiming asylum seeker benefits jumped by a staggering 61 per cent, the German Statistics Office (GSO) said on Thursday. The news comes as a poll published Wednesday showed support for Chancellor Angela Merkel and her party slipping for the second week in a row on the back of the ongoing European migrant crisis. According to the GSO figures, net migration stood at 550,000, meaning that many more people moved to Germany in 2014 than left. The majority were from Europe, mostly from Poland. Liberal asylum laws and generous benefits make Germany the EU’s biggest recipient of people seeking asylum. Overall a total of 1,465,000 people immigrated to Germany in 2014. This was an increase of 238,000, or 19 per cent, from 2013. Based on provisional
Smuggle Him Out in Fancy Dress! The Bizarre Escape Plan For Julian Assange Leaked
Ecuadorian officials reportedly considered smuggling Julian Assange out of their embassy in London by disguising him in fancy dress, in one of a number of plots to evade his police guard stationed outside. It was also suggested the WikiLeaks editor-in-chief, who has been hiding in the embassy since 2012 to avoid a date with Swedish justice, could skip across the Kensington rooftops to a helipad, hide in an out-bound diplomatic mail bag or become lost in the crowds of shoppers in nearby Harrods, according to leaked documents seen by Ecuadorian news site Focus Ecuador. Assange has lived in a small flat at the embassy for more than three years in an attempt to avoid extradition to Sweden for questioning over allegations of rape and sexual assault. The fugitive Australian denies all allegations. He also fears potential prosecution in the U.S. over his publication of leaked documents from soldier Chelsea Manning, including classified material
EU Finally Stands Up to Russia: Hires Crack ‘PR Professionals’ For Brussels
Vladimir Putin, you have been warned. The European Union’s foreign affairs department is ready to launch what it calls a ‘rapid-response team’ to counter Russian aggression in eastern Europe and the Baltic states. Troops and warplanes will not be part of the plan. Instead, the EU announced Thursday it will do what it does best; send in the bureaucrats. The EU wants to unleash crack teams of media and public relations professionals from offices in Brussels to counter what it considers biased Russian media reports. The strategic unit, which will include up to 10 Russian-speaking officials and media operatives from member states including the UK, will be fully operational by the end of September and will be part of the European External Action Service (EEAS). Politico reports it is a first step in the EEAS’s response to growing concern in eastern Europe and EU Baltic states about the destabilizing influence of Russian-language news reports coupled with
Rotherham Sex Scandal: More Than 160 Police Officers Under Investigation For Ignoring Victims
More than 160 police officers are under investigation in the Rotherham abuse scandal over allegations they systematically ignored complaints of widespread child sexual exploitation. The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has already identified 60 officers as part of a major investigation into the scandal and 100 others are in their sights. The watchdog is examining whether or not disciplinary or even legal action should be brought against police officers who are accused of ignoring victims’ claims that they were being sexually trafficked and abused. The IPCC has received 47 referrals from South Yorkshire Police since the publication of the Jay report 12 months ago which exposed the scale of child rape, trafficking and grooming in the South Yorkshire town. Professor Alexis Jay’s report described how more than 1,400 children were sexually exploited by gangs of mainly Asian males in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013. It was also scathing about a culture among police
EU Chief Praises Borderless Europe As Migrant Tide Floods In
Europe’s most senior unelected official is proud of a borderless EU. Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission, believes the Schengen area of 26 countries that have removed all shared checkpoints was ‘one of our very greatest achievements’. As more European leaders voice concerns that hundreds of thousands of migrants crossing the Mediterranean to Italy and Greece are able to move quickly to other areas – including Calais, en route to Britain – because there are no passport checks, Mr Juncker has revealed his pride that this human flood is unhindered by walls or national boundaries. In an article for the French newspaper Le Figaro and the German broadsheet Die Welt, Mr Juncker wrote: “What worries me is to hear politicians from Left to Right nourishing a populism that brings only anger and not solutions. Hate speech and rash statements that threaten one of our very greatest achievements – the Schengen area and the
