Former special counsel to President Bill Clinton, and Clinton ally Lanny Davis argued that there is almost no difference between Hillary Clinton and fellow Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and wondered, “Would you find me something they disagree on?” on Monday’s “Alan Colmes Radio” show on Fox News Radio. Davis stated, [relevant remarks begin around 7:10] “They both agree on universal healthcare. They both agree on choice. They both agree on immigration reform. They both agree on the environment, on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, on every major anti-Wall Street proposal, they both agree on it. Would you find me something they disagree on? Yes, there’s rhetoric about taking campaign contributions from Wall Street, but so did Barack Obama. There’s rhetoric about her being soft on taking those donations, then she asked him, name me one issue that influenced me. He couldn’t.” Davis added that during campaigns “We all get overtaken by the rhetoric.” Follow Ian Hanchett on Twitter @IanHanchett

Mother of Benghazi Victim: Hillary ‘Ought to Be Wearing Stripes,’ ‘My Son Is Dead Because of Her’
Patricia Smith, whose son, Sean, was killed in the September 11, 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya said that Democratic presidential candidate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “ought to be wearing stripes” and “My son is dead because of her” on Monday’s “Varney & Co.” on the Fox Business Network. Smith said, “My feeling is that she went on TV afterwards, telling everybody that I was the liar, that there’s someone here that is lying, and it wasn’t her, and that I was liar. I want her to apologize to me for calling me a liar on TV, because this is clearly not true. And I want to know why my son was left to die breathing in diesel smoke, which is the most horrible way to die, and she didn’t do anything to stop it. She could have.” Smith added that Hillary “ought to be in — she ought to be wearing stripes. I want to see this woman in stripes, because she lied, and the different things that she did say, were very, totally wrong. My son is dead because of her. I would like to talk to her, even though I know I would be the
Hillary: Republicans Want to Strip Women of Their Rights
Monday at a campaign rally in Manhattan during a speech focusing on woman’s rights, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said Republicans “want to strip” women of their rights and vowed she would be the protector of those right if elected. Clinton said, “And practically everything I said is opposed by the Republicans They don’t think we need to raise the minimum wage. Donald Trump says wages are too high in America right now. They don’t believe equal pay is a problem. They sure don’t want to move toward paid family leave. So this is not just a free choice. There are consequences for how we vote and the agenda we put forward. And the other point about what’s happening with the Republicans, as I mentioned earlier, is they truly want to strip us of the rights we already have. And I’ll tell you where I stand, because it is in opposition to where they stand. I will defend a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions, and I will defend Planned Parenthood.” Follow Pam Key on Twitter @pamkeyNEN

When asked what item she always carried with her, she replied, “Hot sauce.” “You getting in Formation right now?” asked one of the amazed hosts, citing the lyrics of the Beyoncé song about keeping hot sauce in her bag. He suggested African-Americans would likely see her comment as “pandering to black people.” “O.K. … Is it workin’?” she replied, laughing. Clinton proceeded to spend the entire interview pandering to the African-American hosts and the audience. Here is a list: Gushed over Beyoncé: “It was so amazing … I sat there and I was just like amazed … unbelievable, what an incredible performer … I can’t believe, just a natural phenomenon,” she said, praising the singer as having the “most amazing stamina, endurance, [and] coordination.” Apologized for mispronouncing Beyoncé’s name: “I was really tired that day.” Apologized for using the term “super-predator”: “It was a poor choice of words.” Praised former Mayor David Dinkins, the only African American mayor of New York City.
