TIPS:
- Assemble three days worth of food and water per person.
- Prepare a supply kit with flashlights, batteries, portable chargers, medication, a first-aid kit, clothes, and blankets. Make sure you have food and water for your pets, too.
- Put gas in your car.
- Bring any loose items that could be picked up by the wind inside your home.
- Know how to shut off your water, heating, and air-conditioning systems.
- Have personal documents like insurance policy information, medical records, birth certificates, and credit card information safely stored and easily available.
