Despite calls from Florida voters and the media to accept debates, Patrick Murphy continues to duck them, refusing to take part in six media-sponsored debates as Marco originally proposed. Marco has now accepted eight debates.
“It’s not surprising to see Patrick Murphy continue to hide from voters. He has accomplished absolutely noting in the last four years for Floridians, and has repeatedly lied about his background to hide that fact. Florida voters deserve to hear from both candidates in this race, and that is why Marco has accepted eight debates, and is calling yet again on Patrick Murphy to at least accept six.” – Olivia Perez-Cubas, campaign spokeswoman
Marco has accepted the following eight debates:
WFTV, Politico Florida, and Cox Media Group Debate
Monday, October 17
Leadership Florida and Florida Press Association Debate
Wednesday, October 26
Tampa Bay Times Debate
CBS Miami/Miami Herald Debate
Univision Debate
WESH Orlando Debate
Jacksonville University Public Policy Institute and WJXT Channel 4 Debate
Fox News Debate
