Earlier today, Marco announced that Jack Whitver has joined our team and will be leading our efforts in Iowa:

IowaRepublican.com has a great summary of Jack’s background and experience:
Whitver represents Senate District 19, which includes Ankeny, Alleman, and north Des Moines. A lifelong Iowan, Whitver grew up in Grinnell and graduated from Iowa State University. While at Iowa State he was a three-year starter as wide receiver for the Iowa State Cyclones football team, and finished his eligibility ranked in the top ten in all-time receiving yards and all-time receptions. In the Iowa Senate Whitver has focused on budget issues and fighting for fiscal discipline. He has filed bills to reduce and eliminate Iowa’s income tax, add a Balanced Budget Amendment to Iowa’s Constitution, and empower all Iowa parents with the freedom of school choice.
Whitver graduated from Drake University Law School in 2012, in 2014 his Senate colleagues chose him to serve in leadership as the Republican Whip. He and his wife Rachael live in Ankeny, where they are proudly raising their three children, Ella, Elin, and Drew.
Why is Jack supporting Marco?
I was moved to this decision for two reasons. First, I have come to know him as a good, honest, family man with a passion for this country and its future. Second, he has the conservative beliefs, and the track record to prove them, that I deeply believe are essential to turning our nation around.
What’s the plan to help Marco win in Iowa?
Over the next nine months I look forward to introducing Senator Rubio to Iowans in every corner of the state, and helping him share his vision to ignite a new American century. I know that not only will he win Iowans over—he will win the nomination, win the general election, and lead our great country forward.
