Misery Loves Company: 92% of France Wants Obama Reelected

France, which has just elected a Socialist president, is the country that most wants President Barack Obama to win reelection, according to a new Pew Research survey that measured global attitudes toward the United States.

Ninety-two percent of those polled in France want to see the US President reelected. Germany is second, with 89% of Germans hoping for reelection, and Britain third with 73%.

Rounding out the top five countries around the world is Spain. Spain's banks are being massively bailed out and unemployment numbers are at 25% for the country and more than 50% for its youth.  Seventy-one percent of Spaniards hope Obama is reelected. Italy is mired in its own economic and unemployment crisis like most of those in the Eurozone. It's no surprise that 69% of Italians wanted Obama back in office.

Obama's reelection will most likely accelerate America's economic decline, so perhaps these Europeans countries are proving that the adage "misery loves company" is indeed true.
