New York Times columnist David Brooks said Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s reaction to the results in the Iowa caucuses was “unnerving” and magnified “any doubts about his stability … with the nuclear trigger” on Friday’s PBS’s “NewsHour.” Brooks stated, “He’s magnifying, I think, his weaknesses. Some of the things he said and some of the things he’s tweeted, saying I actually would have won Iowa, but Cruz cheated, that’s not — that’s unnerving. That’s not the way you react to a defeat. And so I think if people had any doubts about his stability, as Lisa said, with the nuclear trigger, [this] sort of magnifies it.” Follow Ian Hanchett on Twitter @IanHanchett
