Andrea Mitchell: Biden Thinks He Would Be a Better President than Hillary
Thursday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” host Andrea Mitchell said while Vice President Joe Biden is deciding whether or not to challenge former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination, he is taking into account that he “thinks that he would be a better president than Hillary Clinton.” Mitchell said, “I think it’s very clear that he would like to run. He thinks that he would be a better president than Hillary Clinton. He thinks that he is really qualified, having been vice president, having to run for president though unsuccessfully before, all of his years in the Senate. I don’t think he’s close to making this decision. It is so wrapped up in the loss of his son who wanted him to run, what the family needs are, the grandchildren, the children, and the fact that it would be very tough to raise the money for a national campaign.”

Gen. Hertling: Trump’s Plan to Beat ISIS is ‘Laughable and Dangerous’
Earlier this week on CNN’s “New Day,” CNN’s military analyst Ret. U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling said Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump saying his plan against ISIS is to “take the oil away,” with U.S. troops is “laughable and dangerous.” Hertling said, “Well, as he has said, he is a better general than I. So, as a military man, he knows that all plans have to be feasible, credible and practical. The plan that he’s concocting right now doesn’t meet any one of those categories. And, in fact, I would say, it is — it does meet a category of laughable and dangerous. There are people around the world are listening to this and not quite understanding what is going on in America with a guy that’s suggesting we just bomb and send troops in to steal the oil. It’s just not a good suggestion politically.” Follow Pam Key on Twitter

Biden is rumored to be considering entering the Democratic field, which includes Clinton, former Gov. Lincoln Chafee (D-RI), former Gov. Martin O’Malley (D-MD) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
