YouTube suspended the investigative reporting channel Full Measure News, pulling down the entire account and all of its videos last night without specific reason.

HIV+ Dating Service Hzone Threatens to Infect Writer with HIV After He Exposes Database Leak
Hzone, an online dating service for the HIV-positive, threatened to infect a writer and their family with HIV after learning that the DataBreaches admin would be writing a story about major data leaks from Hzone’s systems in November. The database leaks, which exposed over 5,000 profiles, were shared privately with Hzone by security researcher Chris Vickery in early December, but no reply was received. Dates of birth, cities and countries, religions, email addresses, numbers of children, ethnicity, height, IP addresses and hobbies were just some of the information leaking out of Hzone’s database. According to DataBreaches, personal messages were also leaked, including sensitive posts like the following: Hi. I was diagnosed 3 years ago now. CD4 and Viral Load is relatively good. I’m therefore not on Meds yet. My 6-monthly blood tests are due in June. Planning to go in meds. I’m worried about the side effects. What kinds of side effect have you experienced? Xx Due to Hzone’s inaction after being notified multiple times about the leaks, DataBreaches filed a complaint with both the FTC and Apple’s App Store, but again received no reply. Users could not even delete their accounts. DataBreaches received the following shocking reply from Hzone when they were notified that
Facebook, Twitter, Google Collude With German Government To Censor Discussion On Immigration
The two largest social networks, Facebook and Twitter, and the world’s largest search engine, Google, have teamed up with German law enforcement to delete “hate speech” within 24 hours in what is being seen as a last-ditch effort to silence public dissent about a gigantic wave of Syrian immigration. The partnership to crack down on what Germany deems illegal speech comes after German law enforcement’s reported concerns about “racist abuse” posted to social media after the country’s huge and extremely controversial import of over a million Syrian refugees. Justice Minister Heiko Maas is reported to have warned social networks that they must not become “a funfair for the far-right” and that “the benchmark to be applied will be German law and no longer just the terms of use of each network.” Specialist teams will be used to track down, examine, and remove offending posts, and the process is not to take more than 24 hours. After World War Two, all Nazi-related imagery and material was made illegal irrespective of context in Germany. All Nazi-related swastikas and salutes were replaced in the Wolfenstein video game remake, owing to this law. Charlie Nash is a libertarian writer, memeologist, and child prodigy. Shaun King Is Hemorrhaging Twitter Followers
The world’s most notorious white black man, Shaun King, has faced ridicule, abandonment and humiliation over the past few days thanks to a variety of monumental fuck-ups. As if it couldn’t get any worse for the Black Lives Matter activist, his Twitter followers are now leaving him too. King has lost nearly 3,000 followers in just a few days after being effectively booted out of the Black Lives Matter movement by other high profile activists, including DeRay Mckesson, and the number keeps on growing as hashtags like #UnfollowShaunKing grow in popularity. For public figures, drops in Twitter followers are extremely rare. .@Nero So @shaunking had 220k yest. and now it’s 218k and falling. Were his followers international volunteers as well? #UnfollowShaunKing — NorthboundTrain (@NorthboundTrain) December 14, 2015 As you can see from the graph via Twittercounter.com, King’s popularity was on the rise before a variety of inflammatory statements and curious claims were made by the black man with two white biological parents (at least according to his birth certificate!) on Twitter this week. His follower count now plunges near-vertically in a fashion similar to “Saw,” a ride at my local amusement park. Saw, at Thorpe Park in Surrey, UK. A few wags on
Musk, Thiel, Hoffman invest $1 Billion in Artificial Intelligence
Silicon Valley billionaires, Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and Reid Hoffman announced on Friday that they are planning to help commit $1 billion to an Artificial Intelligence centre in San Francisco. OpenAI, the official name of the project, is said to be a non-profit organisation, and the eventual goal is to produce a machine capable of performing any mental task that an average human can, and then research it in a variety of different ways. “Because of AI’s surprising history, it’s hard to predict when human-level AI might come within reach. When it does, it’ll be important to have a leading research institution which can prioritize a good outcome for all over its own self-interest.” states OpenAI in an introductory blog post on their website. “We’re hoping to grow OpenAI into such an institution. As a non-profit, our aim is to build value for everyone rather than shareholders. Researchers will be strongly encouraged to publish their work, whether as papers, blog posts, or code, and our patents (if any) will be shared with the world. We’ll freely collaborate with others across many institutions and expect to work with companies to research and deploy new technologies.” If these statements remain true, OpenAI
Anonymous Declares War on Donald Trump After Trump’s ‘No More Muslims’
Hacktivist collective Anonymous has declared war on Donald Trump after his public statements against Muslim immigration this month. The vigilante group, which has no organisation or hierarchy, is comprised of multiple independent sub-sects, and have been in the spotlight recently for their digital war on the Islamic State after the Paris attacks. The declaration of war against Trump was made in a video posted by a YouTube channel called ‘Anonymous Operations’ on Wednesday. “Donald Trump. It has come to our attention that you want to ban all Muslims to enter the United States. This policy is going to have a huge impact. This is what ISIS wants. The more Muslims feel sad, the more ISIS feel they can recruit them,” states a cloaked figure in the video wearing a Guy Fawkes mask. “The more United States appears to be targeting Muslims, not just radical Muslims. You can be sure that ISIS would put that up on their social media campaign. Donald Trump, think twice before you speak anything. You have been warned Mr Donald Trump.” The video is shoddily constructed, with sound problems throughout and poor spelling and grammar, suggesting that this is one of the more amateurish Anonymous sects, but nonetheless the threat has been
One Of The Most Brilliantly Creepy Viral Kickstarters Is About To Hit Its Target In A Very Muted Form
Just two days are left on Kickstarter to pre-order the next big thing for cute and tacky long-distance relationships: Pillow Talk, a set of wristbands and speakers that you can place under the pillow on your nights alone, in order to listen to your significant other’s heartbeat in bed. Gross, right? And yet someone is buying. The Kickstarter is about to reach its goal to make long-distance couples’ grossly adorable night times come true. The technology works by using the set of wristbands and under-pillow speakers, along with an app that controls them, but after a digital demonstration previously posted by Pillow Talk featuring glowing pillows to indicate the significance of the pillows with the technology, internet trolls and users became confused and started making a variety of memes and jokes mocking the product, effectively turning it into a giant meme. Which was great. “The glowing pillows thing came about when I was interviewed by a Canadian journalist for a news website over there,” Joanna Montgomery, founder of Little Riot told Breitbart. “I could tell she didn’t really understand the product and I kept asking her to explain it back to me, and she kept getting it wrong. I was patiently making my third or fourth
