At least five arrests were made in Frankfurt on Thursday night after a march by supporters of Turkish nationalism descended into bloody violence when they clashed with rival Kurd separatists. Video of the riot has emerged on the same day Germany announced it will place 4,000 soldiers on standby over the weekend to help with a new wave of up to 40,000 refugees arriving in the country. Police said The Thursday event was billed as a “solidarity march commemorating fallen Turkish soldiers”. According to FR Online to it was organised by the “Federation of Turkish young people” which campaigns on behalf of Turkey. The fracas involved a group of around 380 participant and started at the city’s main railway station at 18.30. Hungary Considers State Of Emergency: Army Sent To Secure Border With Serbia
Hungary has sent 3,800 soldiers to hurry completion of a fence along its 175-kilometre border with Serbia, Defence Minister Istvan Simicsko said Friday. The first task is to finish the four-metre-high fence, which presently extends along parts of the border, while the rest is secured by coils of razor wire. According to Europe Online, Simicsko told local news outlet TV2 channel that the army will help secure the border. “We need a stronger defence at the border, the fence alone is not enough,” he said. The move was flagged last week and comes as Hungary considers declaring a state of emergency as it is flooded with migrants transiting the country making their way from their Mediterranean arrival points northwards to Germany. Mr Simicsko added: “I think there’s a huge weight on Hungary, and the Hungarian government does everything to deal with the situation and it does it using its own budget. “A common European
CLAIM: Drowned Aylan Kurdi’s Father Accused Of Being People Smuggler At Helm Of Capsized Boat
THE father of the three-year-old boy whose lifeless body washed up on a Turkish beach was allegedly a people smuggler and was at the helm of the boat when it foundered, killing his son. Australian broadcaster Network Ten has aired allegations that Aylan Kurdi’s father Abdullah was a people trafficker who skippered the vessel which capsized off the Turkish coast. An Iraqi woman on board the boat, who lost two of her children, made the allegations from Iraq early Friday morning. It was alleged they had paid US$10,000 for the trip. Zainab Abbas, via her Sydney based cousin Lara Tahseen, told 10 News the boy’s father was driving the boat. “He was a smuggler, yes, he was the one driving the boat,’’ she told Network 10. “He was a smuggler, yes, he was the one driving the boat,’’ she told Network 10. According to the Sydney Daily Telegraph, a people smuggler who they paid the money to
Borderless Europe Will Not Contain This Migrant Invasion
Tens of thousands of migrants are flooding a porous, borderless Europe. So just what is stopping these young Muslim men – because that is overwhelmingly who they are – from going wherever they fancy once their claims are processed? Well, not much really. Just have a quick look at the numbers. Germany alone expects 800,000 asylum claims in 2015. The government is talking of taking 500,000 migrants annually until the end of the decade while Chancellor Angela Merkel calls the migrant invasion “the next great European project.” The rest of Europe might be saying “good luck with that” but in reality nobody can put a figure on the influx. As Breitbart London reported, Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban has warned that migrants in ‘uncountable millions’ from the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa are on the way. But what is at first blush a German act of misguided magnanimity to offer each and every one asylum could soon become everyone else’s
INTERVIEW: The Saudi Arabian Student Helping The $10,000-A-Piece Migrants Enter Europe
BUDAPEST, Hungary (Sept. 8) – The pictures are stark but they don’t tell the whole story. They rarely do. As Europe wakes each day to yet another round of migrants stepping ashore in Greece and Italy, it would be easy to think that these are the ‘huddled masses, yearning to breathe free’ made famous by poet Emma Lazarus and immortalised on the Statue of Liberty pedestal. Except the people arriving in Europe are anything but huddled and the numbers are staggering; an estimated 340,000 have arrived so far this year alone. As Breitbart London has reported they are for the most part fit, able-bodied young men fleeing wars in Syria, Iraq and Libya looking to get a foothold in continental Europe so they can send for their families. Their journey is costing anywhere up to USD $10,000 each – most of which goes into the pockets of people smugglers – and facilitated
INTERVIEW: ‘It Is Fashionable To Pick On Hungary… Economics Migrants Are Better Off Than Our Own’
BUDAPEST, Hungary (Sept. 8) – Europe’s interests as defined by the liberal left technocrats of Brussels are not always necessarily those of a member state like Hungary. That’s why MEP György Schöpflin, a member of the governing Fidesz party, is happy to stand up for his country when it comes to the migrant invasion now convulsing the region. He told Breitbart London he believes that Hungary is a Christian country that is not anti-immigration but wants to see EU rules enforced to prevent welfare shopping by migrants. He thinks uncontrolled migration has no ‘end game’ and as long as anyone just can pass through Hungary on the way the way to Germany then everyone stands to lose. As Breitbart London has reported, Mr Schöpflin told Sky News that some of refugees who swamped Budapest’s main railway station last week were not as desperate as media outlets portrayed. Mr Schöpflin doubled down on his comments: “It is very fashionable
Hungary Prepares Military Deployment to Counter Migrants
BUDAPEST, Hungary (Sept. 7) – Hungary is preparing legislation that will enable it to deploy its army and para-military police on the country’s southern border with Serbia. Prime Minister Viktor Orban made the announcement today as he detailed a package of measures he said protected both his nation and Europe’s collective Christian culture from being threatened “perhaps not by war, but by being overwhelmed”. Mr Orban, speaking to a gathering of Hungarian diplomats in the capital Budapest, said he hoped this controversial move would succeed in “hermetically sealing” the border, with people crossing at official points only. He also questioned whether the flood of people now seeking sanctuary in Europe should be seen as immigrants, not as refugees, because they are seeking a “German life” and refuse asylum in the first EU country they reach. “If they want to continue on from Hungary, it’s not because they are in danger, it’s because they
End Of The Line: Hungary Seals Borders As Migrant Flow Surges On
BUDAPEST, Hungary (Sept. 7) – Hungary has had enough. After weeks of turmoil driven by immigrants surging through the country’s frontiers on their way to Germany, borders with Serbia to the south and Austria to the north are being closed in an effort to return order to the nation’s sovereignty. Dedicated train services for migrants between the capital Budapest and border regions are also being wound up. Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann told reporters late Sunday night he supports the closures after what he called “intensive talks” with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. “We have always said this is an emergency situation in which we must act quickly and humanely,” said Faymann. “We have helped more than 12,000 people in an acute situation. Now we have to move step-by-step away from emergency measures towards normality, in conformity with the law and dignity.” Austria’s agreement to once again close its border
The New Face Of EU Immigration Is Young, Fit And Overwhelmingly Male
BUDAPEST,Hungary (Sep. 6) – Meet the self-styled ‘Aleppo Boys’. Pictured above, they are the collective face of mass immigration entering Europe from the Middle East. Their story is indicative of so many you can hear right now at Budapest Keleti railway station. They are young. They are fit. They clearly know what they want. They have no intention of staying and fighting in Syria. Instead they have travelled overland through Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, Macedonia, Serbia and into Hungary. They say their last stop is Germany. None of them wants to stay in Hungary or any of they countries they have transited. As one they see Germany as a future because Chancellor Angela Merkel told them so. Besides, Hungary police want to fingerprint them, check any travel documents and stop their progress as specified by EU regulations. The Aleppo Boys want none of it. They understand why some of their compatriots broke
