Trump: Rubio a ‘Clown’
Friday in Washington, DC at the Family Research Council’s 10th annual Values Voter Summit, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump called his rival Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) a “clown.” Trump said, “You have this clown Marco Rubio. I’ve been so nice to him. I’ve been so nice. I’ve been so nice. But he was in favor of immigration and he has been, he has been. It was the gang of eight. You remember the gang of eight. It was terrible. And then he went down in the polls. And you know what if you believe in something you have to be true to yourself. You have to be. You have to be. But it was the gang of eight and it was really really —and you talk about weak on immigration, nobody weaker. And all of a sudden he goes down in the polls and all of a sudden he starts changes his tone.
