Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), a candidate for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination, was asked about his thoughts on his opponent, nomination front-runner Donald Trump. Rubio was particularly critical of Trump for his reactions to his critics and for what he suggested was a lack of knowledge about policy. Partial transcript as follows: O’REILLY: All right. New Bloomberg poll has Trump 21, Ben Carson 16, Jeb Bush 13 — that’s different from the Fox poll. He is at 7 in the Fox poll. Carly Fiorina 11 and you are at 9. Host Bill O’Reilly addressed the DNC’s attacks on Rubio, which he said were “vicious” and “utterly false,” saying, “I’ve been to Harlan Crow’s home and I have seen his collection of history. it’s amazing. any museum would be proud to display what he has. Both good and evil are represented in an educational way. there are documents and letters from crucial moments in american history, as well as world history. they include items from villains such as Hitler, Stalin, Tojo, and Saddam Hussein. if you follow Wasserman Schultz’s reasoning, no politician could hold an event in say, the Imperial War Museum in London, for example. Her take is truly insane.” Rubio then addressed the controversy with, “it didn’t surprise me, I’ve been watching Debbie Wasserman Schultz for years in Florida. On top of her political extremism, [she] tends to do
