Columnist and Fox News Contributor Charles Krauthammer argued that “Donald Trump decided that he would make this into a war on the moderators…because I think, he thinks he lost” on Monday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel. Krauthammer said [relevant remarks begin around 10:30], “Look, you had on that stage very strong candidates. And if you were to take away the glitz, and the buzz, and all of the smoke, you would have seen the strongest field of candidates that the Republicans have had in 30 years. And I think one of the reasons, that at the end of the debate, Donald Trump decided that he would make this into a war on the moderators, and the war’s on Fox, is because I think, he thinks he lost. If you win a debate, you don’t start a war attacking the moderators, and he has succeeded. He’s a brilliant showman. He

California Gov. Jerry Brown signed a law Monday that bans the word “alien” from the state’s labor laws. SB 432, introduced by State Sen. Tony Mendoza (D-Artesia), removes the term “alien,” previously defined as “any person who is not a born or fully naturalized citizen of the United States.” It also removed the state’s preference for hiring U.S. citizens on public works projects during periods of unemployment. The bill passed the Senate unanimously. Mendoza said at the time the State Senate approved the bill that the term “alien” was “offensive,” adding: “It has no place in our laws and should not be the basis of employment hiring.” Last month, as the State Assembly added its approval, he said: “Alien is now commonly considered a derogatory term for a foreign -born person and has very negative connotations.” The only vote against the bill came in the State Assembly, from Assemblyman Matthew Harper, R-Huntington Beach (Orange County), who

Columnist and author of “Adios, America,” Ann Coulter argued GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump will keep his support high “As long as he keeps talking about immigration” on Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “O’Reilly Factor.” Coulter said Trump can keep his lead up, “As long as he keeps talking about immigration. How many different ways can voters say, ‘Stop immigration’? They’ve done this for 30 years. That’s what the 2014 election was about. And as for, you know, conservatives coming to Washington, and then selling out the base, well, Rand Paul did, he was totally for Marco Rubio’s amnesty. It wasn’t until constituents ganged up on him and yelled at him that he finally withdrew, but then he said no, he really supports it. He refers to illegal aliens as undocumented citizens. If they want to undermine Trump, take his issue. Please, take it, Republicans. But they won’t.
