Establishment Republican consultant Alex Castellanos admitted on Wednesday that the GOP debate process is “designed by the insiders for the insiders.” On Cnn’s Wolf, Castellanos, speaking of Wednesday night’s debate (the GOP establishment’s “go-to” pundit Hugh Hewitt will be the panelist representing the right), said “this is not a friendly environment for Donald Trump.” “This is part of the establishment’s process to pick a nominee,” Castellanos, who said that Jeb Bush and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) represent the “future of the Republican party,” said. “This whole process is designed by the insiders for the insiders.” Former Reagan adviser Jeffrey Lord chimed in and said Trump, though, is “at the ultimate outsider’s library.” Castellanos has previously predicted that there would be a “cleansing” in the GOP after Trump loses and even suggested that the best way to get rid of Trump is to “get real close, snuggle up, and shiv him

CNN’s Dr. Drew Pinsky: ‘Much to My Surprise,’ Trump Supporters ‘Are People of Color of Various Races, Ethnicities’
On Wednesday, CNN’s Dr. Drew Pinsky said he has been surprised that, contrary to stereotypes, many of Donald Trump’s supporters are minorities. Last week, Pinsky brought in an audience of Trump supporters on his HLN show because he wanted “to understand the Trump phenomenon.” He said “much to my surprise” many of the people supporting Trump “are people of color of various races and ethnicities.” “I have to stop every time in my show and stop and go ‘wait a minute, you don’t look like who I hear the Trump supporters are,” Pinsky said, noting that Trump’s supporters told him that they have “been treated as some sort of monolithic group.” The Grio even observed that, “surprisingly, many in the audience were African-American.” Pinsky made his remarks to host Carol Costello, who, along with Hispanic Chamber of Commerce President Javier Javier Palomarez, accused Trump of engaging in “hate speech” on Tuesday.
CNN’s Carol Costello Accuses Donald Trump of ‘Hate Speech’
CNN host Carol Costello, who once told her audience to “enjoy” audio of a woman (Bristol Palin) reporting a physical assault to police, accused GOP frontrunner Donald Trump of using “hate speech.” In a Tuesday segment with Hispanic Chamber of Commerce President Javier Palormarez and Jeb Bush supporter Justin Sayfie, Costello mentioned that pro-amnesty activists were carrying signs outside a Trump rally in Dallas this week that said he “is a racist, He’s like Hitler, they had a Trump piñata.” She asked Palormarez, who has said that he found Trump to be much different than he expected in person, if Trump is “splitting the country.” After Palomarez cited what he said was Trump’s “rhetoric of hatred and divisiveness,” Costello asked Sayfie, “will Governor Bush come out and say, you know what, stop it with the hate speech, Mr. Trump?” Costello was likely referring to Trump’s remarks about illegal immigrants during his announcement speech.

AFL-CIO Pres: ‘Probably Every’ Union Member Says ‘Amen’ After Hearing Donald Trump Blast Unfair Trade Deals
In remarks that show how much Donald Trump may resonate with Reagan Democrats in a general election, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka conceded that probably all of his union members say “amen” when they hear Donald Trump blasting unfair trade deals that hurt American workers. On Sunday, Meet The Press host Chuck Todd asked Trumka, “how many of your members hear Donald Trump talk about bad trade deals and say ‘amen?’” Trumka responded that “probably every one that hears him say it’s a bad trade deal… they say amen that bad trade deals are bad for the country.” Trumka mentioned that those on the left like Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) have also spoken out against deals like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which Trump has fiercely opposed. The deal would undermine American sovereignty and potentially even allow a multinational body to rewrite some of America’s immigration laws. Trumka also singled out Hillary Clinton
Mike Huckabee: We Must Stand with Kim Davis Against ‘Criminalization of Christianity’
On Breitbart News Sunday, Former Arkansas Governor and GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee said Americans must stand with Kim Davis, the country clerk who was jailed without bail for refusing to issue same-sex marriage licenses because doing so went against her Christian faith, to show that they are against the “criminalization of Christianity” and “judicial tyranny.” Speaking to guest-host Matthew Boyle on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125, Huckabee announced that he will attend a rally for Davis in Kentucky on Tuesday–he said that a number of churches are busing people to the rally and supporters from as far away as Virginia, South Carolina, and California will be in attendance. “We need to show the country that not only do we stand with Kim Davis but that we stand against judicial tyranny,” Huckabee said. “You cannot stand by and have the criminalization of Christianity, which is essentially what we have sen
Mark Meadows: Constituents Pressuring GOP Reps to Oust Boehner for Failed Promises
On Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125, Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC), who is leading the effort to oust House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) from his leadership post, said the effort to remove Boehner is getting momentum because GOP constituents are sick and tired of a GOP establishment leadership that does not fulfill campaign promises. Meadows told guest-host Matt Boyle, who recently profiled the conservative North Carolina Representative in a feature story that can be read here, that Boehner will need the votes of Democrats to remain Speaker if a vote is held today. Regarding his motion to vacate the chair, Meadows noted that 25 Republicans did not vote for Boehner for Speaker in January and he said, based on private conversations, that there are at least a dozen more Republicans who are now willing to vote against Boehner. As Breitbart’s Boyle has thoroughly documented, if not a single
