After the Nicolle Wallace experiment predictably–and disastrously–failed on The View, the show announced this week that another GOP sellout will be its newest contributor. Ana Navarro, who started appearing on mainstream media networks after working on the failed Jon Hunstman campaign by being more than willing to denigrate the Tea Party and conservatives like Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and former Alaska Governor Sarah Pain, will be a contributor next season on the show. Wallace, whom the mainstream press started liking after she threw Sarah Palin and other conservatives under the bus after the 2008 election in which she and other consultants like Steve Schmidt showed their incompetence–reportedly turned down the network’s offer to be a contributor after she was unceremoniously axed from the show. Wallace was not a conservative so she would not stick up for conservatives on the show. As a result, she was not compelling and there were

Jorge Ramos: Kate’s Law ‘Completely Unfair’ to ‘Millions’ of Illegals
Univision’s Jorge Ramos, the left-wing activist who confronted Donald Trump in Iowa last week and tried to make Trump’s press conference all about him and his pet causes, told CNN this weekend that Kate’s Law is “completely unfair” to millions of illegal immigrants. The proposed law is named after the late Kate Steinle, who was murdered in San Francisco while going on a walk with her father by an illegal immigrant who had previously been deported five times. The illegal immigrant said he came to San Francisco because he knew it was a “sanctuary city.” If Kate’s Law passes, deported illegal immigrants who are caught re-entering the country would be sentenced to a mandatory five-year federal prison term. Ramos, though, insisted that such a law is “completely unfair” to the millions of illegal immigrants in the country. “I think it is unfair that because one undocumented immigrant killed a wonderful
Jorge Ramos Suggests He Was Booted from Trump Presser Because He’s Latino
Jorge Ramos, Univision’s top agitator on illegal immigration issues, implied that he was ousted from Donald Trump’s press conference in Iowa last week because he is Latino. Ramos also refused to state that Trump was not “xenophobic” or a “racist.” When the Washington Post asked if Ramos last week if he felt that “Trump ejected you because you are Latino or because he does not respect Latinos,” Ramos said Trump “clearly does not understand Latinos or their importance in this country.” “He wants to dispatch with millions of them. There is nothing clearer than that. He doesn’t want them here,” he responded. “Look, he’s talking about Mexicans and Latinos and national security while, by the way, Canada shares a border with the United States that is more than 5,000 miles long. It’s one of the longest in the world. Clearly, Mr. Trump’s problem is with Latinos.” When the Post asked Ramos
Donald Trump: U.S. Treats Illegals Better than Vets
On Saturday, GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump said illegal immigrants are treated better than Wounded Warriors and veterans in America. Speaking in Nashville at a National Federation of Republican Assemblies event, Trump said that “illegal immigrants, in many cases–not in all cases, but in many cases–are treated better than our veterans, who are the greatest people we have.” Trump spoke about some of the horrors veterans have had to face in accessing basic medical care and services and vowed that veterans would be treated like first-class citizens under a Trump administration. After mentioning that illegal immigrants and DREAMers were protesting outside of the event, Trump asked, “What about our children?… Why can’t our children that are in the country… Why can’t they be the dreamers?” Trump added, “nobody ever talks about them… we talk about the DREAMERs… we talk about the illegal immigrants, who, by the way, are treated better
Slate’s Jamelle Bouie: ‘Not a Bad Play’ for Trump to Court Black Voters with Pro-U.S. Worker Immigration Plan
Slate’s chief political correspondent Jamelle Bouie may have committed a “Kinsley gaffe” on Thursday when he said Donald Trump’s immigration plan may help Republicans win over black voters in the general election. Bouie said it is “not a bad play” for Trump, “as far as strategy goes,” in appealing to black voters. In an appearance on CNN’s The Situation Room, Bouie was asked to respond to Trump’s remarks in South Carolina earlier in the day in which the business mogul who leads in every state and national poll said he would win over African-American voters by focusing on jobs. Trump cited the high unemployment rate among Black youth, and declared that America will take jobs back from China, Japan, and Mexico. “We’re going to have jobs in this country,” Trump said. Bouie said Trump’s remarks were “absolutely fascinating.” “I don’t think I’ve heard a Republican ever talk specifically about African-American
NBC Latino Contributor: Jorge Ramos Made Him ‘Uncomfortable,’ Could’ve ‘Handled Situation Better’
Even an NBC Latino contributor who believes Donald Trump is “xenophobic” conceded that Jorge Ramos’s flamboyant activism on Tuesday evening in which he cut in line and tried to take over Donald Trump’s press conference made him “uncomfortable.” Juan Castillo wrote in NBC Latino that Ramos “could have handled the situation better” and though “Ramos has every right to speak up,” the activist “looked more like a man who knew the answers before even posing the questions, declaring that Trump could not deport 11 million people and could not build a fence along the entire U.S.-Mexican border.” “Ramos has called Trump’s attacks on Mexico and Mexican immigration ‘personal,’ and at least initially Tuesday, he looked like a man offering opinions and ready for a confrontation,” Castillo continued. “I respect Ramos and greatly admire the courage of his convictions, but at times I’m slightly uncomfortable with his advocacy journalism, however well-meaning
Report: Eric Cantor to Endorse Jeb! ‘Act of Love’ Bush
Former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA), who was ousted in a 2014 primary by Dave Brat because of his support for amnesty for illegal immigrants, will endorse Jeb! “Act of Love” Bush. According to a Politico report, Cantor will formally endorse Bush on Thursday evening “at a fundraiser in Richmond and then will appear with him Friday morning” at another campaign event. A Cantor source told the outlet that Bush and Cantor “have known each other for a long time, speak regularly and have great mutual respect for one another. Eric believes he is the only candidate with a real long-term vision for the country who can also actually implement it – not just talk about it.” Another “top Republican involved in the negotiations” reportedly said, “This is a big deal for Eric, and a big deal for Jeb.” It has come full circle for the GOP country club
***Live Updates*** Donald Trump Holds Rally in Iowa
Donald Trump, who found out on Tuesday that he has widened his lead in the early primary states in New Hampshire and South Carolina and in a national Gravis Marketing poll, is holding a rally in Iowa. Before Trump’s rally, he had a confrontation with Univision’s Jorge Ramos… Trump told Ramos to “sit down” and “go back to Univision” before Ramos was escorted out of the room. Ramos was allowed back in and Trump engaged him on various questions regarding immigration–he told Ramos that birthright citizenship was not guaranteed, he would build a border wall because he is a builder, and illegal immigrant criminals will be “deported so fast that your head’s going to spin.” Ann Coulter, the best-selling author of Adios, America, introduced Trump. Sam Clovis, who left Rick Perry’s failing and moribund presidential campaign for Trump’s campaign on Tuesday and is one of the leading conservatives in the state,
Glenn Beck on NPR: Trump Is Not a Conservative
On Saturday, Glenn Beck went on left-leaning NPR and said he did not think Donald Trump is a conservative. Beck acknowledged that he has a lot of listeners who believe he is wrong about Trump, but Beck insisted, “it’s hard to say you espouse conservative principals and small-government principals when you are saying that you think [the] Canadian health care system works and is wonderful.” When asked if Trump, who is leading in every state and national poll, is “right or wrong on immigration,” Beck, who used the border crisis as an opportunity to bash conservatives, simply replied that he did not believe that Trump was “anti-immigrant or anti-Mexican or [anti] Hispanic in any way.” When asked if Trump’s remarks about illegal immigrants would insult Hispanics, Beck, who is known for his clownish antics and has expressed regret for calling President Barack Obama a “racist,” replied by speaking about civility.
Breitbart Primary: Surging Donald Trump Takes Lead
